Lake Michigan Broadcasting, Inc. is a broadcasting entity based out of Ludington, Michigan. The company owns and operates two radio stations in West Michigan. ==History== Lake Michigan Broadcasting, Inc. was founded in 1996 by Roger Baerwolf. Baerwolf, a former radio and TV executive in Texas, New York and Michigan, purchased WKLA-AM, WKLA-FM, WKZC-FM and WMTE-AM from Chickering & Associates. In 1999, Lake Michigan Broadcasting, Inc. purchased WXYQ for $380,000. The call signs were changed to WMTE-FM to reflect the co-ownership of its existing AM station WMTE.
